Olympus Property Fully Subscribes $41.32M DST for Texas Multifamily Community
September 23, 2026
Olympus Property has fully subscribed Olympus Coronado DST, raising all $41.32 million of investor equity in the Delaware statutory trust, which holds a 384-unit Class A multifamily community in Midland, Texas, the company said.
AltsWire first reported on the offering in March when Olympus launched Coronado as a Regulation D 506(c) DST structured for accredited investors seeking Section 1031 exchange and cash investment opportunities. The trust is backed by Coronado on Briarwood, and the $41.32 million equity raise sits within an approximately $83.56 million total capitalization.
“We are extremely pleased with the response to Coronado and grateful for the confidence shown by our investors, financial professionals and distribution partners,” said Wade Madden, chief executive officer of Olympus Property. “Raising the full $41.32 million of equity represents an important milestone for our DST platform and demonstrates the strength of the relationships we continue to build across the alternative investment marketplace.”
Olympus had managed Coronado on Briarwood in a third-party capacity since 2023 before acquiring the property. Built in 2020, the garden-style community spans 18 three-story buildings on approximately 17.84 acres. The deal builds on Olympus’ existing footprint in the Midland/Odessa market, where the firm owns and operates nearly 1,500 multifamily units, scale Olympus has described as central to its investment strategy in the market.
Midland, located in the Permian Basin, remains a major hub for energy production and is home to Fortune 500 employers including Chevron, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, and Apache Corporation. According to Olympus, the area also continues to diversify into healthcare, education, and logistics sectors.
The full subscription lands as Olympus continues expanding into the retail alternative investment channel. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Fort Worth, the multifamily owner-operator has historically invested alongside private clients and institutional partners and is now extending its acquisition and operating platform to a broader network of broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, and financial professionals.
“The successful close of Coronado is about more than completing a single offering,” Madden said. “It is another step in establishing Olympus as a long-term partner to the wealth management community. We appreciate the advisers and firms that supported Coronado, and we look forward to continuing to bring institutional-quality multifamily opportunities to their clients.”
